Philips has announced the new Xenium Series smartphones. These phones as far as I know are extremely efficient in terms of energy, with quietly exceeding autonomy of operation in standby mode, something that is appreciated by both users and for the environment.
The last phone in this series that has been shown is the Philips X806, notable for its thinness and well-balanced specifications, among which are:
* Connectivity Quad-band GSM / GPRS
* 3.5-inch touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels
* 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash
Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
* FM radio tuner
* 47MB internal memory
* Slot MircroSD
* Support handwriting
The major problem with this phone is that it only connects to second generation networks, at a time when all good smartphone that makes it to the third generation and WiFi networks.
