Advanced mobile phone technology allows you to download music, share files through Bluetooth and Infrared, surf internet etc. The advancement in mobile technology has been marvelous and fast too.

The advancement does not stop with entertainment. Now, mobile phones that can sense terrorist attack are under development. The department of Homeland Security is teaming up with high tech technology company to develop such a mobile phone.

The work for this advancement started in 2007 and NASA along with wireless technology developer, Qualcomm Inc. and camera lens specialists Rhevision Technology Inc. The mobile phone would be able to sense a noxious gas such as chlorine. They would raise alarm sound if they sensed the gas.

If the cell phones sense more deadly gas, then a message is directly sent to the authorities giving the details of the venue.

Then came video capturing facility, music in mp3 formats, downloading and uploading options, with internet compatiblility, with larger, displays. Apple was able to push down Nokia, the largest mobile phone seller in the world, out of the US market through aggressive sales of internet phones.
Now, Google wants to grab a pie of this lucrative market, and is planning to launch it's own internet phone in the coming months. But reports say that it may launch the phone without any subsidy, which means the phones could be very costly at nearly 1000 dollars a piece.
Google might be able to really cut into the Apple market share, only it if is able to subsidize the cost of the phones like Apple. Let us see what Google does at the time of launch.

Android is Welcome to the world of laptops, but I have no idea what the hell we can wait for the Android operating system on a laptop, because ... Chrome for Android is completed? Will it be possible to install Firefox? Can we install Linux applications on Android?

There are more questions than answers. The trouble is that Android is a good OS for smartphones but is it going to be a good choice for laptops
